Established in 1966 and renamed in 2007, the tournament attracts top-tier golfers. Beyond showcasing elite golf, the event is a platform for philanthropy through the Arnold & Winnie Palmer Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to supporting health and wellness initiatives, youth development, and community programs, reflecting Palmer's commitment to making a positive impact both on and off the golf course.
