Meet Our Team

Rebecca Bast always knew she wanted to do something with her life that would have an impact on others. When she started as an intern with Northwestern Mutual in 1994, it became clear to her how she was going to make a difference. Rebecca began her full-time career with an insurance focused business. As the industry evolved, so did her vision for the future. Today, at OnePoint BFG, Rebecca leads a team to develop comprehensive financial plans for individuals, families, and businesses all over the country.

With over 30 years of experience, her knowledge, loyalty and integrity, clients have come to realize that Rebecca is truly looking out for their best interests.

Rebecca resides in Tampa, Florida, with her husband John, and their two children, John Thomas, and Cally. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys playing golf, fly fishing, skiing, traveling, attending sporting events, and being active in her community. Most importantly, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Acts 20:35 says, “it is more blessed to give than to receive,” and we believe we’re blessed to be a blessing to others.

Daniel joined Bast Financial Group in 2021 and serves as a Wealth Management Advisor. He brings more than ten years of experience in financial services to his work with clients and their families.

Before joining the firm, Daniel was a Senior Analyst at AGW Capital Advisors, where he directed the firm's investment strategy. His work spanned fund manager research, portfolio construction and implementation, and trading.

Daniel earned a B.S. in Finance from Florida Gulf Coast University. He is a CFP® professional and also holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) certification and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation.

Daniel is a Tampa native, where he currently resides with his wife, Lesley, and his three precious daughters. In his spare time, Daniel enjoys a good cup of coffee outdoors, trying a new fitness regimen, and staying involved at his church, Radiant Church.

Taylor joined the firm in 2020 and serves as an Associate Wealth Management Advisor. She works alongside our advisory team to help clients plan for what matters to them and to keep their financial lives organized as their needs evolve.

Taylor attended the University of South Florida where she earned a B.S. in Personal Finance. She also holds the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®). Taylor has been appointed by the National CFP® Board as a CFP® Practitioner since November of 2025.

A Florida native, Taylor spends her free time visiting national parks, on the water with family and friends, and running.

Jonathan joined Bast Financial Group in 2024 and brings more than five years of experience in financial services. He serves as a Client Service Associate for the Bast Team.

Before joining the firm, Jonathan was a Lead Advisor at another firm, where he led business development and client acquisition, mentored other advisors, tracked pending legislative changes affecting financial planning, and built financial plans for clients.

Jonathan earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Tampa. He is a CFP® professional and has held CFP® certification since April 2023.

A Tampa Bay area native, Jonathan lives in the region with his wife, Aliya, and their son. In his spare time, he enjoys playing live music, hiking, biking, and staying involved at his local church.

Parveen joined the firm in 2018 and serves as Operations Team Lead for the Bast Team.

Before joining the firm, Parveen worked as a personal banker, where she built a strong grounding in banking and finance. That background shapes how she supports clients today, with attention to detail and a steady focus on a seamless client experience.

Parveen holds a bachelor’s degree in management and organizational leadership from St. Petersburg College.

Outside the office, Parveen enjoys traveling, discovering new cuisines, and spending time with her husband, Brad, and their sons, Jackson and Lincoln.

Elena joined Bast Financial Group in 2022 and brings more than ten years of experience in financial services. She serves as Investment Operations Manager for the Bast Team.

Before joining the firm, Elena worked as a Paraplanner, supporting advisors across investment analysis and recommendations, account opening and servicing, insurance planning, and the development of client financial plans.

Elena earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Eckerd College. She is a CFP^® professional and has held CFP^® certification since November 2025.

Elena was raised in Tampa and now lives in Treasure Island. In her spare time, she enjoys concerts and time with family.

Jamie joined Bast Financial Group in 2025 as an Operations Associate.

Before joining the firm, Jamie served as Director of Operations at another financial firm. Earlier in her career, she spent more than a decade in hospitality and event planning, where she developed the coordination and client-service skills she draws on today to keep service running smoothly.

A proud Florida State University alumna, Jamie holds a B.S. in Business and Hospitality Management.

Originally from Clearwater and raised in Tallahassee, Jamie’s life journey has taken her to Sidney, ME; Orlando, FL; Savannah, GA; and Chicago, IL, before she returned to Tampa. As a recent mother, Jamie enjoys quality time with her family. When she gets a chance, she also loves traveling, discovering new dining spots, relaxing at the beach, and visiting Disney World.
